On April 26th, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Sean and Rebecca’s wedding at the charming Valley Green Inn, nestled in the Wissahickon Valley Park just outside of Philadelphia. With its woodsy trails, riverside views, and rustic charm, the venue felt like something out of a storybook. and it turned out to be the perfect backdrop for such a heartfelt celebration.
From the moment I arrived, it was clear that Sean and Rebecca are as down to earth as they come. They were warm, kind, and fully present, soaking in every moment of the day with genuine joy. It was also heartwarming to see how close they were with their core group of friends, tight knit, supportive, and sincerely happy to be part of their story. One of those friends even officiated the ceremony and did a beautiful job bringing everyone to both laughter and tears.
The weather did try to throw us a curveball. During the photo session, we had to pause a few times for passing rain showers. But with a little patience (and some quick dashes in and out between the raindrops) we managed to capture some truly beautiful images outside.
By the time the ceremony began, the skies had completely cleared. The light broke through the trees just in time, bathing the ceremony in that golden glow photographers dream of. From that moment on, the weather stayed perfect, allowing the celebration to continue into the evening without a hitch.
Sean and Rebecca, thank you for trusting me to document your day. It was an honor to witness your love and the beautiful community you’ve built around you. I hope you enjoy this small sample of images from your wedding. There are MANY more to come!
